Feel Air, a new Scandinavian LCC, will begin operations with
Stockholm Arlanda-New York JFK and Oslo Gardermoen-Bangkok service in
spring 2010 aboard dry-leased A330-200s, it announced yesterday. It
currently is raising capital of NOK240 million ($42.1 million) with
Norwegian investment bank DnBNOR Markets. The new airline will be led
by former Norwegian DG-Civil Aviation Otto Lagarhus and former Senior
VP of VIA Travel Group Kai Holmberg.

"We are building a
Ryanair-type cost religion, combined with AirAsia X operation and
business model, wrapped up in a Virgin-style employment and branding
philosophy," Holmberg said. Feel Air will target leisure travelers and
plans to weight frequencies toward New York in the summer and Thailand
in the winter. It predicted EBITA of NOK48 million next year based on
yield of $0.05, load factor rising from 49% to 76% and fleet
utilization of 16.7 hr. per day.

Mjā, iesākums daudzsološs! Tikai neizdevās atrast nevienu paraugcenu...

vai tad tajā lapā var jau pasūtīt (nopirkt)? Neatradu tādu opciju... tikai paziņojumi presei par spožo nākotni!

Plāni vareni, redzēs, kā tos pildīs. Neizklausās reāli apvienot Ryanair + AirAsiaX + Virgin labākās īpašības, bet būšu priecīgs, ja viņi pierādīs, ka man nav taisnība.

Nu cerams ka izdosies plāni. Un projekts būs ilgdzīvojosh. Nu vismaz ilgāk kā OasisHonKong savulaik.

2024: RIX, FRA, BER, SPU, OTP, IST, SIN, NAN, TBU, TVU.

Baltia Air Lines, a New York JFK-based startup aiming to serve
Eastern Europe, took delivery of its first 747, it announced yesterday.
It said the aircraft was purchased and "paid for in full" and that it
"has no debt, and we intend to expand our fleet using revenues
generated once we start flight operations."

FeelAir nelidos no Stokholmas, jo neuzskata to par pietiekami perspektivu tirgu paslaik esot perspektivakas vietas Eiropa un citur.

"Under the current economic climate and competitive landscape locally in Scandinavia, FEEL Air sees risk too great for 2011 launch. The world economy, and Europe in particular, has been very unstable and unpredictable in 2011. This uncertainty also seem to continue in the coming months and quarters. That, in addition to a lot of new Scandinavian long-haul route openings by Thai, SAS, Qatar, Ethiad and Emirates since FEEL Air announced its plans....

Whereas Scandinavia still remain a potential market place for FEEL Air, the company now also evaluates other potential locations for airline operations as it broadens its territory focus."
